Infection control needed at college

 

The cancelation of events, including intercollegiate athletics and club sports, was effective immediately.

Alison Byerly, president of the Easton school, announced in an update on Lafayette’s website that the outbreak had been confirmed as norovirus, following testing by the Pennsylvania Department of Health.

Canceling classes and activities aims to minimize student contact with visitors to the campus, she wrote.
